Compared to the first session of last week (September 8), domestic coffee prices have decreased sharply. At that time, the general level in the Central Highlands provinces fluctuated around 95,500 - 96,300 VND/kg, so up to now, the price has lost about 7,000 - 8,000 VND/kg in just one week.
World coffee prices have not been updated for a new session
As of 11:30 a.m. Vietnam time, the international futures coffee market has not had a new trading session. Robusta coffee prices in London at the end of the most recent session remained unchanged at 3,216 USD/ton with a delivery date of September 2025, unchanged from the previous session. Longer terms such as November 2025 and January 2026 are 3,170 and 3,137 USD/ton respectively.
Meanwhile, Arabica coffee prices on the New York exchange also remained unchanged at the closing price of last weekend's session. The September 2025 term stopped at 286.5 cents/lb, the December 2025 term was 280.45 cents/lb. Contracts for further delivery in March and May 2026 stood at 274.75 and 269.65 cents/lb, respectively.
Over the past week, the domestic coffee market has experienced consecutive price declines, greatly affected by the cooling trend on the London Stock Exchange. At the end of the trading session at the end of the week, Robusta prices fell sharply to 150 - 155 USD/ton, causing domestic prices to plummet.
World Arabica prices have fluctuated in different directions, increasing slightly in the middle of the week but are still not strong enough to support the domestic market.
Note: Domestic coffee prices may vary depending on the Agency, locality and time of day. The above price is for reference only.
