Retail gas prices by region
Recording retail gas prices today August 3rd shows that the market continues to maintain a new price level after the adjustment period in early August. Businesses have not yet implemented any further adjustments, while gas prices in surveyed areas are stabilizing again.
In the Northern region, gas prices in Hanoi are currently listed at 518.400 VND/12kg cylinder and 2.073.600 VND/48kg cylinder.
Meanwhile, in Hai Phong, retail gas prices are currently at 506,088 VND/12kg cylinder and 2,024,352 VND/48kg cylinder. Compared to Hanoi, the price of a 12kg cylinder is 12,000 VND lower, while a 48kg cylinder is nearly 49,000 VND lower.
In the Central region, Da Nang recorded the price of a 12kg gas cylinder at 53.8 million VND, while a 48kg gas cylinder was listed at 2,067,000 VND.
In the South, Ho Chi Minh City continues to be the area with the highest price in the survey table, with a 12kg gas cylinder at 552,000 VND and a 48kg cylinder at 2,204,000 VND. Meanwhile, in Can Tho, the selling prices are 520,000 VND/12kg cylinder and 2,080,000 VND/48kg cylinder respectively.
According to records, after the adjustment period in early August, domestic retail gas prices are maintaining stability in the regions. Currently, the price of a 12kg gas cylinder ranges from 506,088 - 552,000 VND/cylinder, while a 48kg gas cylinder is commonly in the range of 2,024,352 - 2,204,000 VND/cylinder.
Retail gas prices by brand
Gas prices today August 3rd according to major brands continue to remain stable after the first adjustment period of the month. The new price level is currently maintained by businesses, and no further changes have been recorded during the day.
At the Petrolimex system in Hanoi, the price of a 12kg gas cylinder is currently listed at 518,400 VND, while a 48kg industrial gas cylinder is priced at 2,073,600 VND.
For SAIGON PETRO, the current selling price is VND 561,000/12kg cylinder and VND 2,104,500/45kg cylinder.
Meanwhile, Pacific Petro is listing the price of a 12kg gas cylinder at 647,000 VND and a 45kg gas cylinder at 2,396,000 VND. This is currently one of the highest prices in the surveyed brand group.
For PV GAS, the selling price varies by region. In Hanoi, a 12kg gas cylinder is currently at 568,204 VND, and a 45kg cylinder is 2,130,765 VND. In Ho Chi Minh City, the selling prices are listed at 637,081 VND/12kg cylinder and 2,389,054 VND/45kg cylinder respectively.
In general, retail gas prices today according to brands continue to be flat after the adjustment in early August. In the 12kg gas cylinder group, Petrolimex in Hanoi has the lowest price, while Pacific Petro maintains the highest price in the survey table.
