In the Northern region, the price of live pigs today decreased by 1,000 - 2,000 VND/kg in most provinces and cities and fluctuated between 56,000 - 60,000 VND/kg. In particular, some provinces and cities have decreased by 1,000 VND/kg such as: Lai Chau, Son La (to 56,000 VND/kg), Lang Son, Dien Bien (to 57,000 VND/kg), Thai Nguyen, Lao Cai (to 58,000 VND/kg), Tuyen Quang, Hanoi, Hung Yen (to 59,000 VND/kg). In Bac Ninh alone, the price of live pigs has decreased by 2,000 VND, to 58,000 VND/kg. Hai Phong and Phu Tho have the highest price of live pigs in the area, at 60,000 VND/kg.


In the Central region, the price of live pigs today also decreased by 1,000 - 2,000 VND/kg. Of which, Quang Tri has a price of live pigs decreased by 2,000 VND/kg, to 55,000 VND/kg. Some provinces have had live pig prices decreased by VND 1,000/kg such as: Hue (at VND 56,000/kg), Ha Tinh (at VND 57,000/kg), Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Gia Lai (at VND 58,000/kg). Lam Dong is the province with the highest price of live pigs in the region at 59,000 VND/kg.

In the Southern region, the price of live pigs today is flat and fluctuates around 60,000 - 61,000 VND/kg. Of which, Dong Nai, An Giang, Ca Mau, Ho Chi Minh City, Vinh Long, Can Tho have live pig prices at 60,000 VND/kg. Tay Ninh and Dong Thap have the highest import-export pig prices in the region at VND61,000/kg.
