In the Northern region, the price of live pigs sold in the provinces and cities decreased by 1,000 VND/kg, while only Quang Ninh, Ninh Binh, and Hai Phong kept the same price. In particular, a series of provinces with prices of 55,000 VND/kg are Lai Chau, Dien Bien, Son La, Lang Son - this is also the lowest price in the Northern region today. Hai Phong is the province with the highest price of live pigs in the region at 57,000 VND/kg.
In the Central region, the price of live pigs is almost stable, fluctuating between 54,000 - 59,000 VND/kg. Nghe An and Ha Tinh provinces decreased by VND 1,000/kg to VND 54,000/kg. Lam Dong continues to be the area with the highest price of live pigs at 59,000 VND/kg, followed by Quang Ngai, Gia Lai, Dak Lak, Khanh Hoa at 58,000 VND/kg.
In the Southern region, the price of live pigs still remains the highest in the country, ranging from 58,000 - 60,000 VND/kg. Of which, Dong Thap has a price of live pigs today 1,000 VND/kg, up to 60,000 VND/kg, equal to the price of Ca Mau. Vinh Long and Can Tho are the two provinces with the lowest import prices in the region at 58,000 VND/kg.
