Many provinces and cities adjusted live hog prices down by 1,000 - 3,000 VND/kg - this is a deep decrease since the Lunar New Year. Provinces with live hog prices down by 3,000 VND/kg are Tuyen Quang, Phu Tho (to 65,000 VND/kg), Lang Son, Quang Ninh (to 66,000 VND/kg), Bac Ninh, Hung Yen (to 67,000 VND/kg).
In the Central region, live hog prices today also decreased from 1,000 - 3,000 VND/kg, fluctuating from 67,000 - 68,000 VND/kg. Some places with live hog prices down 3,000 VND/kg are Gia Lai (down to 67,000 VND/kg) and Lam Dong (down to 69,000 VND/kg).
In the Southern region, live hog prices today decreased from 1,000 - 2,000 VND/kg, fluctuating in the range of 68,000 - 70,000 VND/kg. Ca Mau is the only place with live hog prices standing still at 70,000 VND/kg.
