In particular, most provinces and cities have live pig prices reduced by VND 1,000/kg such as: Tuyen Quang, Lao Cai, Lai Chau, Dien Bien, Son La (to VND 50,000/kg), Cao Bang, Thai Nguyen, Quang Ninh, Bac Ninh, Hanoi, Ninh Binh, Phu Tho (to VND 51,000/kg). In particular, Hai Phong has a price of live pigs decreased by 2,000 VND/kg, to 51,000 VND/kg. Lang Son is the only locality with the same price of live pigs at 51,000 VND/kg.
In the Central region, the price of live pigs ranges from 48,000 - 50,000 VND/kg. Some localities have had live pig prices decrease by VND 1,000/kg, such as Dak Lak (to VND 48,000/kg, equal to the price in Gia Lai), Khanh Hoa, Ha Tinh (to VND 49,000/kg), Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Lam Dong (to VND 50,000/kg).
In the South, the price of live pigs today ranges from 48,000 - 51,000 VND/kg. In particular, a series of localities have decreased by 1,000 VND/kg: Vinh Long (to 48,000 VND/kg), An Giang, Can Tho (to 50,000 VND/kg), Ca Mau (51,000 VND/kg).
