Deputy Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee Ngo Xuan Thang affirmed that the city always cares about and closely directs the overcoming of the consequences of natural disasters, especially timely support for affected households.
In the immediate future, Da Nang City has decided to spend 210 billion VND to support 72 communes and wards in the area affected by natural disasters, helping localities gradually restore infrastructure, support households in difficulty, and minimize the impact after floods.
After visiting and giving gifts to the people, Deputy Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee Ngo Xuan Thang directly inspected the landslide site that threatened the safety of the lives and property of 18 households (71 people) in Cam Long village (Tay Ho commune).
Deputy Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee Ngo Xuan Thang suggested that local authorities evacuate households to safe places to avoid storm No. 13 on the afternoon of November 6, 2025.
The Deputy Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee suggested that Tay Ho commune closely coordinate with specialized units to organize a review and full list of locations with signs or high risk of landslides, especially residential areas located close to mountain slopes, along rivers and streams.
The information must be compiled and reported promptly so that the city can develop a specific handling plan to ensure the safety of the people.
