Perspectives and forecasts

However, with the prospect that global supply in 2026 will continue to be tightened due to the impact of climate change, pepper prices are forecast to remain attractive, ensuring profits for pepper growers in this crop year.
According to statistics from the Vietnam Pepper and Spice Plant Association (VPSA), in 2025, Vietnam exported 247,482 tons of pepper of all kinds, including 212,279 tons of black pepper and 35,203 tons of white pepper. Total export turnover reached more than 1.66 billion USD. Compared to the previous year, although export volume decreased slightly by about 1.2%, export value increased by 26%.
This is also the year with the highest export turnover ever of Vietnam's pepper industry.
