Perspectives and forecasts
According to the International Pepper Corporation (IPC), in the second trading week of the year, the global pepper market recorded uneven price movements between producing countries. In general, market conditions are still relatively stable, and fluctuations mainly stem from supply characteristics and harvest progress in each region.
In the context of the strong USD price increase, it has created pressure on the commodity market in general and pepper in particular.
Vietnam's pepper export prices maintained their upward momentum while prices in some other countries slightly adjusted down, the global pepper market is entering a clear differentiation stage. With the advantage of stable quality and traceability, Vietnamese pepper is expected to continue to maintain its competitiveness.
