Assessments and forecasts
The scarcity of supply has pushed domestic pepper prices to maintain around the threshold of 137,000 - 142,000 VND/kg by the end of May 2026. The decrease in pepper prices comes from technical adjustment activities after the previous stagnant period.
This development shows that the world pepper market is still in the stage of supply-demand adjustment between major production sectors, while import demand in many consumption markets remains stable.
