Assessments and forecasts
Domestic pepper prices have increased sharply recently due to reduced supply after the harvest season ends.
Pepper inventory moved to a record low in 2026, causing the market to continue to lack goods. On the contrary, increased import demand from many markets along with farmers' psychology of keeping goods are supporting pepper prices to remain in the highlands.
Meanwhile, the market is entering a new price increase cycle due to a global supply shortage. This may cause pepper prices to fluctuate in the high price range.
