Domestic pepper prices witnessed a 3rd consecutive day of deep price drop, specifically as follows:

With the same decrease, Dak Lak and Lam Dong recorded the highest price of 136,000 VND/kg, down 2,000 VND/kg.

Compared to the same period in 2025, the current price continues to lose 25,000 VND/kg. This price threshold has broken the record of hitting the bottom of yesterday's trading session, establishing a new low price threshold in the past 1 year.
World pepper prices: Stable
In the world market, pepper prices remained unchanged compared to the previous closing session. The Indonesian exchange - one of the most vibrant markets is no exception. Black and white peppers traded in the range of 6, 994 - 9, 260 USD/ton (equivalent to 184, 215 VND/kg - 243, 900 VND/kg).
The Brazilian market is listed at the mark of 6,050 USD/ton (about 159,351 VND/kg). Notably, black and white peppers maintained an increase of 100 USD/ton for many days, trading at 12,100 USD/ton and 9,100 USD/ton.
In Vietnam's pepper export market, black pepper prices of 500 g/l and 550 g/l are anchored at 6,300 - 6,400 USD/ton. Meanwhile, ASTA white pepper price remains unchanged, offered for sale at 9,050 USD/ton (equivalent to 238,368 VND/kg).

Assessments and forecasts
Pepper prices plummeted due to the supply from the new harvest season being quickly added to the market, while purchasing demand has not increased correspondingly. In addition, logistics costs and geopolitical instability also affect trading sentiment, making the market more cautious.
Although pepper prices are under pressure in the short term, many opinions suggest that the market still has prospects for long-term recovery as global supply shows signs of decline due to the impact of weather and increased production costs.
