Assessments and forecasts
The domestic pepper market maintained a low price threshold when yesterday's trading session simultaneously adjusted down from 1,000 - 3,000 VND/kg. This price wave has officially pulled the trading level in localities down below the threshold of 140,000 VND/kg.
According to assessments from the International Pepper Corporation (IPC), the downward trend of the domestic market is taking place in the context that the global situation has just experienced a week of sluggish trading and slight differentiation due to the impact of the Eid-Adha holiday in many countries.
