Domestic pepper prices: Stable in the first session of the week
As of 12:30 today (September 28), the domestic pepper market is stable in the regions. Currently, the price ranges from 136,000 - 138,000 VND/kg.
List the price at 136,000 VND/kg in Gia Lai province.
Pepper prices in Dong Nai and Ho Chi Minh City today remained unchanged at VND137,000/kg.
Dak Lak and Lam Dong province simultaneously set the target of 138,000 VND/kg. These are the 2 provinces listing the highest domestic pepper prices in the country.
World pepper prices: Reversal to decrease
In the world market, pepper prices are mostly stable in most regions. In particular, the Indonesian exchange - one of the most vibrant markets - reversed and decreased prices. Currently, these two items are traded between 7,136 - 9,975 USD/ton (equivalent to 187,927 VND/kg - 262,692 VND/kg), down 0.25% and 0.26%, respectively.
In the same direction, the Brazilian exchange rate fell sharply, this region is currently at 5,900 USD/ton (about 155,377 VND/kg). Meanwhile, Malaysia's black and white pepper remained at 11,750 USD/ton and 8,900 USD/ton.
In Vietnam, the export price of black pepper of 500 g/l and 550 g/l is stable, currently anchored at 6,440 - 6,570 USD/ton. ASTA white pepper prices reached 9,150 USD/ton (equivalent to 240,966 VND/kg).
