Domestic pepper prices: Unexpectedly stable
As of 11:30 today (September 23), the domestic pepper market has returned to a flat trend. Currently, pepper purchasing prices range from 136,500 - 138,500 VND/kg.
List the price at 136,500 VND/kg in Gia Lai province.
Pepper prices in Dong Nai and Ho Chi Minh City, after a decrease of VND 1,000/kg, today remained at VND 137,000/kg.
Dak Lak and Lam Dong province are respectively at 138,000 - 138,500 VND/kg. These are the 2 provinces listing the highest domestic pepper prices in the country.
World pepper prices: Indonesia and Brazil both raise prices
In the world market, pepper prices have increased in some regions. The Indonesian exchange - one of the most vibrant markets is no exception. Currently, these two items are traded between 7,144 - 9,986 USD/ton (equivalent to 188,031 VND/kg - 262,832 VND/kg), "turning around" all increased by 0.14%.
In the same direction, the Brazilian exchange increased by 3.33%, this region is currently at 6,000 USD/ton (about 157,920 VND/kg). Meanwhile, Malaysia's black and white pepper remained at 11,750 USD/ton and 8,900 USD/ton.
In Vietnam, the export price of black pepper of 500 g/l and 550 g/l is stable, currently anchored at 6,440 - 6,570 USD/ton. ASTA white pepper prices reached 9,150 USD/ton (equivalent to 240,828 VND/kg).
