Retail gasoline and oil prices today August 8th at the PVOIL system continue to be applied according to the adjustment level effective from 3:00 PM on August 6th of the inter-Ministry of Industry and Trade - Finance.
According to the latest price list, E10 RON 95-III gasoline is sold by PVOIL at a price of 22,320 VND/liter. E5 RON 92-II gasoline is listed at 21,720 VND/liter, continuing to be the item with the lowest price in the gasoline group at the system.
In the oil group, DO 0.05S-II oil is currently priced at 27, 540 VND/liter, while DO 0.001S-V oil is sold at 29, 640 VND/liter.
Compared to the operating period effective from 3:00 PM on July 31, retail prices at PVOIL have been adjusted down in all items. Specifically, E10 RON 95-III gasoline decreased by 530 VND/liter, E5 RON 92-II gasoline decreased by 660 VND/liter. In the oil group, DO 0.05S-II oil and DO 0.001S-V oil both decreased by 80 VND/liter.
The above retail price is applied by PVOIL at the entire system of gas stations and distribution units under the system nationwide until the next gasoline and oil price adjustment period of the inter-Ministry of Industry and Trade - Finance.
The adjustment of gasoline and oil prices is implemented according to current regulations on price management, based on the developments of finished gasoline and oil prices in the world market in the price calculation cycle and price-forming factors according to regulations of management agencies.
According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, in the price adjustment period last week, the world gasoline and oil market in this adjustment period was affected by key factors such as: the US canceling a new attack on Iran; Iran and Oman reaching consensus on the management mechanism of the Hormuz Strait; OPEC+ approving a plan to increase oil production from September; the military conflict between Russia and Ukraine continues, focusing heavily on energy facilities, oil refineries...
The above factors have caused world finished gasoline and oil prices in recent days to increase and decrease depending on the item, but the downward trend is main.
