On June 17, 2025, the National Assembly issued Resolution No. 204/2025/QH15 on reducing value-added tax. Resolution 204/2025/QH15 takes effect from July 1, 2025 to December 31, 2026.
According to the Resolution, value-added tax (VAT) on gasoline decreased by 2%, from 10% to 8%. From 0:00 on July 1, gasoline prices will decrease accordingly. This is the second gasoline price adjustment session in this operating period.
Compared to the adjustment period on June 29, the maximum retail price for petroleum products is applied from July 1 as follows:
E5RON92 gasoline: not higher than VND 20,530/liter (down VND 381/liter compared to the previous period). RON95-III gasoline: not higher than VND 21,116/liter (down VND 391/liter compared to the previous period).
Diesel 0.05S: not higher than VND 19,349/liter (down VND 358/liter compared to the previous period). Kerosene: not higher than VND 19,064/liter (down VND 353/liter compared to the previous period). madut Oil 180CST 3.5S: not higher than VND 16,955/kg (down VND 314/kg compared to the previous period).
In the adjustment session last week (September 26), the price of E5 RON 92 gasoline increased compared to the previous adjustment period, at VND20,000/liter (up VND280/liter). RON 95-III gasoline price increased compared to the previous adjustment period, priced at VND 21,507/liter (up VND 263/liter).
Prices of oil products have also increased simultaneously. Of which, diesel 0.05S is priced at VND19,5707/liter (up VND511/liter); kerosene has a new price of VND19417/liter (up VND494/liter); mazut is priced at VND17,269/kg (down VND374/kg).
