According to analysts, world oil prices fell last week due to tariff risks and concerns about economic recession overwhelming the risk of sanctions from the US increasing pressure on Iran and Venezuela.
In the trading session at the end of the week, oil prices plummeted as the market focused on the heated debate between the US President and the Ukrainian President over a ceasefire agreement in the Russia-Ukraine conflict.
Experts say this could bring an advantage to Russia, while opening up the possibility of the country increasing its oil supply to the market.
