1. General Secretary To Lam met and worked with leaders of central internal affairs agencies to disseminate a number of new policies and viewpoints on preventing and combating corruption, waste, and negativity - Building a team of "Strong - Sharp - Effective" internal affairs agency cadres.
2. Complete the development and submit to the Politburo, the Secretariat and the two Central Steering Committees 10 major projects on internal affairs, preventing and combating corruption, waste, negativity and judicial reform.
3. Timely advise on amending and supplementing the functions and tasks of the Central Steering Committee and the Provincial Steering Committee to direct both waste prevention and control work - Put waste prevention and control on par with corruption and negativity prevention and control as directed by General Secretary To Lam, Head of the Steering Committee.
4. Advise and organize well 3 Sessions, 2 Meetings of the Steering Committee, Standing Committee of the Central Steering Committee on preventing and combating corruption, waste, and negativity and more than 600 Sessions, Meetings of the Steering Committee on preventing and combating corruption, waste, and negativity at the provincial level
5. Coordinate and direct the handling of many serious, complicated corruption and negative cases that are of public concern, following the viewpoint of "no forbidden zones, no exceptions", both strict and humane, in accordance with legal regulations.
6. Advise the Central Steering Committee to complete 6 inspection teams, contributing to improving the effectiveness of the coordination mechanism in detecting and handling corruption and negativity.
7. Summarizing 10 years of implementing Directive No. 35-CT/TW; advising and organizing more than 1,000 meetings and dialogues with citizens by the Provincial and Municipal Party Secretaries; receiving and handling nearly 60,000 petitions, letters of reflection, complaints, and denunciations; and advising and directing the handling of more than 200 mass and complicated petitions, contributing to maintaining political stability and social order and safety.
8. Compile and publish the book "Continuing to build and perfect the Socialist Rule of Law State of Vietnam" with many rich theoretical and practical values, serving the research and advisory work of the Party's Internal Affairs sector.
9. Completed key scientific topics on the advisory work of Central Party agencies in the field of internal affairs over 40 years of renovation; successfully organized 2 international seminars, 13 topics and scientific research projects at Party committee and grassroots levels.
10. Complete the review and streamline the organizational structure; amend and supplement the functions, tasks, and organizational structure of the Central Internal Affairs Committee.
