In 2024, closely following the Party's leadership, with a spirit of determination and proactiveness, the Front system at all levels will constantly innovate the content and methods of operation, deploy and complete the assigned tasks according to the plan and arising tasks.
With these successes, the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front introduces 10 outstanding activities and events of the Front's work in 2024:
1. The Congresses of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels for the 2024-2029 term and the 10th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front for the 2024-2029 term were successful, creating a strong influence among the people, contributing to consolidating and strengthening the great national unity bloc.
2. Resolutely deploy the summary of the implementation of Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW, dated October 25, 2017 of the 12th Party Central Committee on "Some issues on continuing to innovate and reorganize the apparatus of the political system to be streamlined, effective and efficient".
3. Complete 5,500 solidarity houses for poor households in Dien Bien province and the Northwestern provinces.
4. Organize a meeting to honor more than 14,000 Dien Bien soldiers, youth volunteers, and frontline laborers who directly participated in the Dien Bien Phu Campaign.
5. Mobilize domestic and foreign agencies, businesses, organizations and individuals to support large resources to send to the people of 26 provinces and cities in the Northern region to overcome the consequences caused by storm No. 3 (Yagi); at the same time, publicly, transparently, promptly and effectively distribute support resources and support to localities affected by storm No. 3 (Yagi).
6. The 2024 National Great Unity Day in residential areas across the country creates an atmosphere of excitement, joy, solidarity, and consensus, contributing to consolidating the strong position of the people's hearts.
7. The Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front coordinated with the Central Emulation and Reward Council to launch the emulation movement of the whole country joining hands to "Eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses" in 2025, which received widespread support from all walks of life.
8. Successfully organize the 16th "For the cause of great national unity" Press Award, 2023-2024.
9. Successfully organized the 5th Conference of Presidents of the Cambodia - Laos - Vietnam Front.
10. Successfully coordinate the organization of the 2nd "Village Support" Program in 2024.
