The 2025 National Newspaper Association has the theme "Vietnamese Press - Middle-city, Creative, brave, Innovation for the cause of building and defending the Fatherland".

On the morning of June 16, the Vietnam Journalists Association held a press conference for the National Newspaper Association 2025 and the 19th National Press Awards Ceremony - 2024.

Accordingly, the 2025 National Newspaper Association with the theme "Vietnam Press - Mid-city, Creative, brave, Innovation for the cause of building and defending the Fatherland" will be a highlight in the spirit of innovation, creativity, comprehensive vision with many impressive exhibition activities, rich and practical professional activities and unique cultural and artistic programs.

According to Ms. Le My Ai Linh - Acting Director of the Press Culture Center, Permanent Deputy Head of the National Newspaper Association in 2025, this year's National Newspaper Association has more than 80 central and local press units participating, with nearly 130 exhibition booths of outstanding press of newspapers and magazines from popular to professional, of major press training institutions, covering all aspects of the economic - political - cultural - social - national defense - security - foreign affairs life of the country.

Many press agencies will present multi-platform press products, applying new technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), 3D modeling, holofan, virtual reality, etc.

Including special exhibition booths of some key press agencies such as Nhan Dan Newspaper, Vietnam Television, Voice of Vietnam, Vietnam News Agency, Military Press Bloc, Police Press Bloc...

Highlights at the center space include a thematic exhibition "100 years of Vietnamese Revolutionary Journalism: Achievements and trends in press development in the new era".

For the first time, a space to display press history was organized with in-depth and elaborate content at the Newspaper Association, chaired by the Vietnam Press Museum.

On this occasion, the Ministry of Science and Technology also held a special stamp issuance ceremony on the occasion of "Celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day".

Ms. Le My Ai Linh said that following the success of the first National Press Forum in 2024, this year the Vietnam Journalists Association continues to organize the 2nd National Press Forum including 12 discussion sessions, with many practical contents, associated with the top concerns of Vietnamese press.

With the participation of delegates, guests, experts, leaders of press agencies, famous journalists, and prestigious international media experts. This will be a high-quality professional activity on a regional scale, a highlight in the series of activities to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Vietnamese Revolutionary Press.

Many discussion sessions on hot topics, attracting the attention of the press such as: Vietnamese journalism - vision in the new era; Voice of women in news management; Developing young user groups; AI and strategies of newsrooms; Data journalism at Vietnamese newsrooms; What strategies for television to retain readers;...

The 2025 National Newspaper Association will open at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 19, 2025; The closing ceremony will take place at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 21, 2025 at the National Parliament Center (Pham Hung, Me Tri, Nam Tu Liem, Hanoi).
