After a day of urgent and serious work, on the afternoon of June 3, the final round of the 19th National Press Awards in 2024 completed the Final round and achieved the set goals, according to VNA.
Of the 183 entries, the Council discussed, evaluated and voted to select 13 A prizes, 27 B prizes, 49 C prizes, and 36 Encouragement prizes to award the 19th National Press Award in 2024.
Speaking at the closing round of the final mark, Mr. Le Quoc Minh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Editor -in -Chief of the People's Newspaper, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department and the Central Mobilization, Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists Association, Chairman of the Final Council of the 1924 National Press Award - said: The Council has met the final round of the final round, listening to the report on the results of the Preliminary Round, Exchanging and Exchange of the National Press Award for the 19th Prize Prize and the XIX CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT. 2024.
The Council members discussed carefully, fairly and marked 183 works in the final round with an objective and responsible spirit.
The final jury determined that the entries to the Award had met the selection criteria stated in the Award Council's Selection Guidelines, comprehensively and deeply reflecting the country's political, economic, cultural, social, security, national defense and foreign affairs life in 2024.
Many works have been seriously and elaborately invested, with content that discovers new problems, criticizes, and builds major policies and guidelines of the Party and State; proposes many solutions and effective methods to spread in society.
Many works demonstrate professionalism, creativity, and application of modern journalism technology, attracting the attention of domestic and foreign readers.
The Council highly appreciates the innovation in the structure and improving the quality of the preliminary council's appraisal, and raises some issues that need to learn from the next seasons, especially the selection at the grassroots level and the propaganda and promotion for a number of types of prizes.
Also on this occasion, the Council gave opinions on a number of issues related to the organization of the Award. These opinions will be accepted and studied by the Standing Committee of the Award Council to supplement and adjust in the coming time.
The 19th National Press Award Ceremony in 2024 will be solemnly held on the evening of June 21, 2025 to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Vietnam Revolutionary Press Award.
