On the afternoon of February 24, Bac Giang Provincial Police held a ceremony to announce the decision of the Provincial Police Director on the retirement from work according to personal wishes for police leaders and commanders working in the province.
Accordingly, implementing the policy of streamlining the police apparatus according to the three-level model (Ministry, province, commune) and not organizing district-level police, up to now, the work of ensuring the implementation of the new model of Bac Giang Provincial Police has been completed, qualified to enter the practical implementation stage.
At the announcement ceremony, Colonel Nguyen Quang Vinh, Director of Bac Giang Provincial Police, presented early retirement decisions from March 1, 2025 to 13 department-level leaders including: 9 police chiefs at the department, district, and city levels; 4 deputy department chiefs and deputy district police chiefs.
On behalf of 13 officers who have retired early, Lieutenant Colonel Ngo Van Binh - Chief Inspector of Bac Giang Provincial Police emotionally shared: "Implementing the Party and State's policy on streamlining the apparatus, in which the Ministry of Public Security is exemplary in implementing, we have proactively prepared to write a resignation letter waiting for retirement age to facilitate the process of streamlining the apparatus of the Provincial Police as well as creating conditions for young officers to have the opportunity to challenge themselves and develop.
After working and contributing to the sector, the Party and the State, now returning to our family, we would like to continue to promote the good traditions of the People's Public Security Forces, comply with the rules and regulations of the locality where we live, actively participate in movements launched by all levels and sectors, especially the movement of All People's Protection of National Security, contributing to ensuring good political security and social order and safety in the area".
Speaking at the ceremony, Colonel Nguyen Quang Vinh - Director of Bac Giang Provincial Police believes that officers who retire early will continue to promote the good qualities of People's Public Security soldiers; regularly maintain contact, exchange, share experiences, abilities, and strengths of work with units and officers and soldiers of the Public Security in the province, contributing successfully to the tasks assigned by the Party and the people to the Public Security sector in general and the Bac Giang Provincial Police in particular.
