19 Border Guard officers promoted to the rank of colonel, 21 people retire early

Cao Bang - 21 officers of the Provincial Border Guard Command have just received a decision to retire early.

On September 20, information from the Cao Bang Provincial Border Guard Command, the unit has just held a conference to announce and hand over decisions on promotion of military ranks, salary increase and early retirement for cadres according to Decree 178 of the Government.

Colonel Dang Hong Quan - Political Commissar of the Provincial Border Guard chaired the conference. Also attending were comrades from the Standing Committee, Party Committee, Provincial Border Guard Command and leaders of Departments under the Provincial Border Guard Command.

On this occasion, the Cao Bang Provincial Border Guard awarded decisions to promote the policy of promotion from Lieutenant Colonel to Colonel to 6 officers, from Lieutenant Colonel to Lieutenant Colonel to 13 officers and awarded decisions to retire and retire from work early to 21 officers.

This is a step to concretize Decree No. 178 of the Government on streamlining the payroll and restructuring the staff in the direction of streamlining, efficiency, in line with the Project on arranging and organizing local military forces at 2 levels "streamlined, compact, strong" to meet the requirements of the task of building a revolutionary, disciplined, elite, and modern Vietnam People's Army.

Speaking at the conference, Colonel Dang Hong Quan emphasized that the promotion of military ranks and salary increases are a worthy recognition of the process of striving, training and dedication of officers in the force.

He suggested that each officer continue to promote the qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers, uphold the spirit of responsibility, solidarity, creativity, and complete assigned tasks well.
