On the afternoon of February 27, the Central Organization Committee organized a Conference to award the First-class Labor Medal and deploy the Politburo's Conclusion on personnel work.
Politburo Member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Organization Committee Le Minh Hung chaired the Conference.
At the Conference, Mr. Hoang Trung Dung - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Organization Committee - said that with outstanding achievements in advising and implementing the revolution in arranging the organizational structure according to Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW of the Party Central Committee, the Party and the State, the Prime Minister decided to award noble awards to collectives and individuals of the Central Organization Committee.
Awarding the First-class Independence Medal to the Central Organization Committee; awarding the First-class Labor Medal to Mr. Nguyen Quang Duong - Member of the 13th Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Organization Committee; awarding the Third-class Labor Medal to 2 collectives (Department of Organization and Charter and Department of Personnel Organization); awarding Certificates of Merit from the Prime Minister to 4 collectives and 9 individuals of the Committee.
At this Conference, the Central Organization Committee organized the awarding of the First-class Labor Medal to Mr. Nguyen Quang Duong - Member of the 13th Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Organization Committee.
At the Conference, Mr. Hoang Trung Dung also presented Official Dispatch No. 514 of the Central Party Office on the time of retirement and retirement of members of the 13th Central Party Committee.
Accordingly, at the meeting on February 3, 2026, considering the Submission of the Central Organization Committee on the implementation of policies and regimes for Politburo members, Secretariat members, and Central Party Committee members of the XIII term who are not re-elected to the XIV term, the Politburo concluded: Agreeing with comrades Hoang Dang Quang, Member of the Party Central Committee of the XIII term, Standing Deputy Head of the Central Organization Committee and comrade Nguyen Quang Duong, Member of the Party Central Committee of the XIII term, Deputy Head of the Central Organization Committee to retire from March 1, 2026 and retire from December 1, 2026.
Congratulating Mr. Nguyen Quang Duong on receiving the Labor Medal and congratulating the 2 comrades who retired and successfully completed their assigned tasks, Head of the Central Organization Committee Le Minh Hung stated clearly: Comrade Hoang Dang Quang and Comrade Nguyen Quang Duong are 2 cadres who grew up from the grassroots level, experiencing many positions, tasks, and positions from local to central levels. The two comrades have a lot of experience in Party building work.
In the process of working, the two comrades are people with a very high sense of responsibility for their work, enthusiasm and dedication in leadership and direction, and also have a lot of experience and have contributed to many achievements and results of the Central Organization Committee's work in recent years.
Especially the results in the implementation of arrangement, reporting proposals to improve the organizational model, new models as required by the Politburo, as well as in the organization of Party Congresses at all levels and the 14th National Party Congress.
Expressing emotion when receiving the resignation decision, Mr. Hoang Dang Quang and Mr. Nguyen Quang Duong respectfully thanked the Politburo, the Secretariat and the Central Organizing Committee for creating conditions for each person to successfully complete the assigned tasks. At the same time, Mr. Hoang Dang Quang and Mr. Nguyen Quang Duong affirmed that they will continue to strive to train and maintain the moral qualities of cadres and party members, wholeheartedly participating in Party building work.
