25 people in Cao Bang are verifying assets and income

Cao Bang - The Provincial Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption, Wastefulness and Negativity has just held its 11th meeting.

On August 5, the Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption, Wastefulness and Negativity (PCTNLPTC) of Cao Bang province held its 11th meeting chaired by Mr. Quan Minh Cuong - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Cao Bang province - Head of the Steering Committee.

At the meeting, delegates listened to a report on the results of PCTNLPTC work in the first 7 months of 2025, the progress of handling cases and incidents under the supervision and direction of the Steering Committee, as well as giving opinions on draft documents and directions for tasks in the coming time.

Since the beginning of the year, the Cao Bang Provincial Party Committee and the Steering Committee have issued many documents to direct and improve the effectiveness of corruption prevention and control.

Thereby, 72 agencies have been inspected for public operation and organization, 5 units have been inspected for the implementation of codes of conduct; no violations have been detected yet.

The Provincial Inspectorate is also verifying assets and income of 25 cases. The Inspection Committees at all levels have received 55 complaints, of which 13 have been processed or transferred to competent authorities, the rest are monitored and kept according to regulations.

Currently, the Steering Committee is monitoring 5 cases and 1 incident. The provincial prosecution agencies have closely coordinated to ensure the progress of handling and thorough recovery of assets lost in economic and corruption cases.

Concluding the meeting, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Minh Cuong requested all levels and sectors to continue to effectively implement PCTNLPTC solutions.

At the same time, speed up the handling of complicated cases that are of public concern; increase the responsibility of leaders, improve the effectiveness of inspection, examination and supervision work; strictly implement the conclusions and recommendations of central agencies in this field.
