According to the forecast of the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, storm No. 11 will continue to strengthen to level 12-13, gusting to level 15-16, moving rapidly towards the Loi Chau peninsula and the Gulf of Tonkin; on October 5-7, the storm will directly affect the Gulf of Tonkin, coastal areas and mainland Vietnam, continuing to cause heavy rain in the Northern region and Thanh Hoa, Nghe An.
Storms No. 9, No. 10 and No. 11 appeared consecutively, as soon as the work of overcoming the consequences of the previous storm and flood had not been completed, this was a double natural disaster (storm overlapping, flood overlapping), with a very high risk of flash floods, landslides in the mountainous provinces, midlands of the North, North Central and flooding in urban areas and low-lying areas, threatening the safety of the traffic system, dykes, dams, especially the projects that had not been repaired in time.
The Prime Minister requested the Chairmen of the People's Committees of coastal provinces and cities, especially the area from Quang Ninh to Ninh Binh, to direct the implementation of safety assurance for ships and vehicles operating at sea (instructions for exiting, not entering dangerous areas or returning to shelters).

The Chairman of Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee inspected and directed competent agencies to coordinate with the police force to immediately evacuate and relocate households in areas at risk of landslides in Bao Ha commune.
