On the morning of June 14, at the Presidential Palace, Politburo member and President Luong Cuong, Chairman of the National Defense and Security Council, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces - chaired the ceremony to hand over the Decision to promote the rank of Senior Lieutenant General to 3 Deputy Ministers of Public Security.
Attending the ceremony were Politburo members: Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh; Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Organization Committee Le Minh Hung; Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Inspection Committee Nguyen Duy Ngoc; General Luong Tam Quang, Minister of Public Security.
At the ceremony, authorized by the President, Mr. Pham Thanh Ha - Deputy Head of the Office of the President - announced the President's Decision to promote the rank from Lieutenant General to Senior Lieutenant General for Deputy Ministers of Public Security: Le Tan Toi - Member of the Party Central Committee, Member of the National Assembly Standing Committee, Chairman of the National Defense, Security and External Affairs Committee of the National Assembly; Le Van Tuyen; Nguyen Van Long.
Presenting the decision and expressing opinions at the ceremony, on behalf of the Party and State leaders, President Luong Cuong congratulated the three officers of the People's Public Security (CAND) who have just been decided by the Party and State to be promoted from Lieutenant General to Senior Lieutenant General.
Faced with the many and heavy requirements and tasks in the new situation, the President requested that comrades who have just been promoted to the rank of general continue to maintain and promote the glorious tradition of the heroic People's Public Security force, preserve revolutionary moral qualities; continue to study, cultivate and practice according to the 6 things that Uncle Ho loves and teaches and the 6 contents of Uncle Ho's general education "The General must be Tri-Dung-Nhan-Thin-Liem-Trung"; unite, be closely attached to the cadres, soldiers and people; strive to overcome difficulties and challenges, and excellently complete assigned tasks.
The President hopes that you will continue to work with the Central Public Security Party Committee and the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security to focus on leading, directing, and organizing the construction of the revolutionary People's Public Security force, truly clean, strong, disciplined, elite, and modern; always excellently completing the tasks in the new era - the era of rising up, developing richly and prosperously of the Vietnamese people.
On behalf of the three individuals who have just been promoted in rank, speaking on receiving their assignments, Senior Lieutenant General Le Tan Toi expressed his deep gratitude to the leaders of the Party and State for always paying attention; as well as the Ministries, departments, central agencies, officers and soldiers of the People's Public Security Forces and the People's Army for always being close to accompany, support, and create favorable conditions in performing their tasks over the past time.
Senior General Le Tan Toi promised to always be absolutely loyal to the Fatherland, the people, the Party and the State; always put the interests of the nation, people, and the interests of the people first; steadfastly uphold the goals and ideals of the Party; seriously grasp and implement President Ho Chi Minh's teachings on the Doctrine of general education; strictly implement the People's Public Security regulations; strive and be determined to excellently complete the tasks entrusted by the Party, State, National Assembly, Ministry of Public Security and People.
