On the afternoon of December 26, the 7th session (special session) of the 10th term of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council (PC), term 2021 - 2026, opened at the Ba Ria - Vung Tau Conference Center (Ba Ria ward, Ho Chi Minh City).
This session will consider 32 submitted contents and draft Resolutions under the authority of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council, including contents on legal regulations, and separate contents. These contents have a direct impact on the development orientation of Ho Chi Minh City in 2026 and the next period.
In particular, many contents are of interest to the people such as: building a land price list for the first time in Ho Chi Minh City to be applied for the first time from January 1, 2026; preferential policies, land rent exemptions; Ho Chi Minh City socio-economic development plan in 2026...
At the same time, the policy on implementing key projects in the area will be considered such as: building a Trauma Hospital (300 beds) in Binh Chanh area; building a practical General Hospital (500 beds) under Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine; building Thanh Hoi 2 bridge, railway connecting Ho Chi Minh City and Dong Nai; building Phu My and Can Gio bridges; investing in Rach Chiec National Sports Complex in Binh Trung ward...
Mr. Vo Van Minh - Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council - commented that the contents submitted to the meeting have been carefully prepared and reviewed by the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee and relevant agencies, ensuring proper authority, compliance with legal regulations and in accordance with local practical development requirements, as a basis for the City People's Council to consider and decide.
The session is expected to end in the afternoon of the same day.
