On the morning of December 16, in Can Tho City, the Central Propaganda Department held a national conference to review the work of advising Party committees on Party building in politics, ideology, ethics and propaganda fields in 2024; and deploy tasks in 2025.
Mr. Tran Cam Tu - Politburo member, Standing member of the Secretariat, Head of the Central Inspection Commission - attended and delivered a speech at the conference. Mr. Nguyen Trong Nghia - Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda Department and leaders of the Central Propaganda Department chaired the conference.
In his concluding remarks at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Trong Nghia - Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda Department - seriously received and fully understood the instructions of Mr. Tran Cam Tu - Politburo member, Standing member of the Secretariat, Head of the Central Inspection Commission.
The leaders of the Central Propaganda Department requested the Propaganda sector to closely follow the leadership and direction of the Central Executive Committee, the Politburo, the Secretariat, Party committees at all levels, of General Secretary To Lam in the working session with the Central Propaganda Department, of the Standing Secretariat at the conference, as well as the main tasks and solutions set out in the Report; urgently develop specific, scientific work programs and plans and actively, resolutely and creatively implement them from the beginning of 2025.
Orienting the work in 2025, the Head of the Central Propaganda Department requested the Propaganda sector to focus on 4 key groups of tasks to be implemented with 5 principles of unity, including Unity of mind, unity of effort, unity of heart, carried out simultaneously and synchronously.
Firstly, highly focus on directing the propaganda work on the Party's direction and leadership, the State's administration and management to implement socio-economic development tasks and solutions in 2025; strive to achieve the double-digit growth target right from the beginning of 2025.
Second, urgently consolidate, arrange and merge the organizational structure of the Mass Mobilization Committee and the Propaganda Committee. Determine the name, develop functions, tasks, and working regulations and submit them to the Politburo and Party Committees for issuance of a Decision for drastic and effective implementation from the beginning of 2025. Orient press work and streamline press agencies.
Third, focus on propaganda, create a wide-ranging political movement to successfully organize Party Congresses at all levels and the 14th National Party Congress.
Fourth, organize the celebration of major holidays in 2025. Develop programs and plans to solemnly, practically, and economically celebrate important anniversaries of the Party and the country.
