Speaking at the award ceremony, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man said that, promoting the results of the two previous editions, this year, the Organizing Committee of the Award received journalistic works with new, creative, attractive, and convincing research, which were well received by readers and highly appreciated by the Award Judging Council.
Notably, many articles have highlighted the efforts and determination to innovate, improve the quality of operations, and achieve important and comprehensive results in all aspects of the National Assembly's work in 2024.
In particular, there are many articles that deeply analyze the innovations in legislative work and decisions on important issues of the country, shifting the thinking of law-making towards both ensuring the requirements of State management and encouraging creativity, liberating all productive forces, and unleashing all resources for development with the spirit of breakthrough, reform, decentralization, and radical decentralization.
From there, it will delegate proactive authority, ensuring flexibility in the Government's management in the context of constantly changing practical situations, responding most quickly and effectively to socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security, and taking better care of people's lives.
Towards the 95th anniversary of the Party's founding; 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday; 50th anniversary of the complete liberation of the South and national reunification; 80th anniversary of the founding of the country; 80th anniversary of the first general election to elect the Vietnamese National Assembly; 100th anniversary of the Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man believes that journalists will continue to promote their love for the profession with a bright heart, sharp pen, and steadfast mind, accompanying the National Assembly, promptly conveying information on the National Assembly's activities in terms of legislation, supreme supervision, and decision-making on important issues of the country.
Thereby, exploring and discovering shortcomings and obstacles in the process of law making and law enforcement; urgent issues of people and businesses to reflect to the National Assembly and People's Councils, finding solutions to promptly remove and resolve; helping the National Assembly and People's Councils to operate more and more effectively and efficiently, worthy of the trust of voters and people nationwide.
After more than 11 months of launching, the Organizing Committee has received 4,079 works from 163 press agencies. This year, the Organizing Committee of the third National Press Award on the National Assembly and People's Council (Dien Hong Award) - 2025 has awarded 40 Encouragement prizes, 20 C prizes, 15 B prizes, 8 A prizes.
