On February 28, Ba Ria - Vung Tau Provincial Police held a ceremony to announce the decision of the Minister of Public Security on the organization of the apparatus, the decision of the Provincial Police Director on personnel work.
In particular, the Director of the Provincial Police Department has issued a decision to retire from work to enjoy the retirement regime ( premature retirement) from January 1 to 9 officers including: Colonel Nguyen Huy Cuong (Chief of Office of the Investigation Police Agency); Colonel Nguyen Xuan Son (Head of the Department of Administrative Police for Social Order); Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Van Duong (Head of the Party Committee's Inspection Agency); Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Van Thao (Head of the Criminal Techniques Department); Colonel Phan Dang Ha (Deputy Head of Vung Tau City Police); Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Trong Hai (Deputy Head of the Mobile Police Department); Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Van Duc (Deputy Head of the Technical Department); Lieutenant Colonel Phan Hien (Deputy Head of the Drug Investigation Department); Lieutenant Colonel Huong Thanh (Deputy Director of the City Police Department).
These are volunteer cadres who retire early despite their working time, in order to create favorable conditions for the organization of the arrangement and assignment of cadres when there is a policy of the Ministry of Public Security on streamlining the apparatus, as well as preparing to develop a personnel plan for the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term.
Ba Ria - Vung Tau Provincial Police also announced decisions on the transfer and arrangement of officers at the police of units and localities.
At the same time, following the direction from the Ministry of Public Security, the Provincial Party Committee, and the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial Police force has proactively and actively advised and closely coordinated with relevant departments and branches to prepare conditions to receive 5 groups of tasks, in order to create cohesion, connectivity, overcome the situation of separation, a task assigned by many agencies, reduce coordination mechanisms, improve quality and work efficiency, best and fastest service for people and businesses.
In that spirit, the Provincial People's Committee and the Provincial Police held a ceremony to transfer functions and tasks from departments and branches to the Provincial Police on February 28.
According to Ba Ria - Vung Tau Provincial Police, with careful preparation and the highest sense of responsibility, the unit has completed the tasks assigned by the Ministry of Public Security; ready for the effective implementation of the new model from March 1, 2025.
According to Ba Ria - Vung Tau Provincial Police, when not organizing district-level police in the province, the unit will end the operation of 7 district-level police and 67 team-level units under the district-level police. The new apparatus of the Provincial Police will now include 26 Department-level units, 77 Commune-level Police and 2 Police Stations.
