Attending the funeral, memorial service and burial of martyrs' remains were Mr. Trinh Van Quyet - Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission; Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nghi - Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Policy and Strategy Commission; Mr. Doan Minh Huan - Member of the Politburo, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Standing Vice Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council.

Members of the Party Central Committee: Nguyen Doan Anh - Vice Chairman of the National Assembly; Nguyen Hong Dien - Vice Chairman of the National Assembly; Le Tien Chau - Deputy Prime Minister; Ha Thi Nga - Vice Chairman, Secretary General of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; Nguyen Huu Dong - Deputy Head of the Central Organization Committee; Nguyen Anh Tuan - Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Chairman of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; Hau A Lenh - Secretary of the Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee.
Also attending were former Party and State leaders, ministries, departments, and central agencies; delegates from provinces: Lao Cai, Phu Tho, Thai Nguyen, Dien Bien, Cao Bang.

In a solemn and respectful atmosphere, the delegates respectfully offered incense, laid wreaths, observed a minute of silence to commemorate and express their deep gratitude to the martyrs who sacrificed for the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Fatherland.
Reading the eulogy at the ceremony, Mr. Phan Huy Ngoc - Chairman of Tuyen Quang Provincial People's Committee emphasized that the memorial service and burial ceremony is an opportunity for the entire Party Committee, government, armed forces and people to express their infinite gratitude to the outstanding children who dedicated their youth and blood and bones for independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity.
Chairman of Tuyen Quang Provincial People's Committee said that with responsibility, affection and deep gratitude, the forces have searched and collected 34 sets of remains of martyrs, including 1 set of remains of martyrs during the resistance war against France.
The sacrifice of the martyrs has contributed to writing glorious pages of the nation's history, lighting up the noble qualities of "Uncle Ho's soldiers", fostering the patriotism, will for independence, self-reliance and aspiration for peace of the Vietnamese nation.

Before the spirits of the heroic martyrs, leaders of Tuyen Quang province vowed to continue to promote the tradition of patriotism, unite to build an increasingly rich and beautiful homeland, firmly protect the independence, sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity of the Fatherland. At the same time, better care for the lives of policy families, people with meritorious services and continue to effectively implement the work of searching for and repatriating martyrs' remains.
After the eulogy, the delegates respectfully observed a minute of silence to commemorate the heroic martyrs. In the heroic sound, the funeral and burial ceremony for the martyrs' remains were solemnly held.
Delegates, relatives of martyrs, veterans, officers, soldiers and people successively offered incense, flowers, and bid farewell to the heroic martyrs to their final resting place.

In the fight to protect the northern border at the Vi Xuyen front, thousands of officers and soldiers of the Vietnam People's Army persistently stayed with the will of "not leaving an inch, not leaving a millimeter", determined to firmly protect every inch of the borderland of the Fatherland.
More than 4,000 officers and soldiers bravely sacrificed themselves, writing an immortal epic in Vi Xuyen land. The work of searching for and repatriating martyrs' remains is still being persistently carried out by all levels, sectors and functional forces, in order to bring them back to their comrades and homeland.
