On February 27, the 26th session of the 7th People's Council of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province, term 2021-2026, passed many resolutions on the establishment of departments, on the basis of merging and consolidating previous departments.
At the meeting, 8 resolutions were passed on the above content, including 7 resolutions to establish 7 new departments; 1 resolution to merge 1 department into the Office of the People's Committee of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province.
In which, the Department of Finance was established on the basis of merging the Department of Finance with the Department of Planning and Investment; the organizational structure includes 1 director and 6 deputy directors, 8 departments with a total of 117 positions.
Establish the Department of Science and Technology on the basis of merging with the Department of Information and Communications; the organizational structure includes 1 director and 4 deputy directors; 5 departments, 1 public service unit with a total of 54 positions.
Establish the Department of Construction on the basis of merging the Department of Construction with the Department of Transport; the organizational structure includes 1 director and 5 deputy directors; 8 departments, 2 public service units with a total of 124 positions.
Establish the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism on the basis of merging the Department of Culture and Sports with the Department of Tourism; the organizational structure includes 1 director and 4 deputy directors; 6 departments, 2 public service units with a total of 65 positions.
Establish the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions on the basis of merging the Ethnic Minorities Committee with the Religious Minorities Committee; the organizational structure includes 1 director and 3 deputy directors; 3 departments with a total of 26 positions.
Establish the Department of Home Affairs on the basis of merging the Department of Home Affairs with the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs; the organizational structure includes 1 director and 4 deputy directors; 9 departments, 3 public service units with a total of 102 positions.
Establish the Department of Agriculture and Environment on the basis of merging the Department of Agriculture with the Department of Natural Resources and Environment; the organizational structure includes 1 director and 5 deputy directors; 6 departments, 3 branches, 3 public service units with a total of 343 positions.
At the same time, merge the Department of Foreign Affairs into the Provincial People's Committee Office; establish the Department of Foreign Affairs and restructure the organization of the Provincial People's Committee Office.
