On July 7, Mr. Nguyen Cao Thanh - Chairman of the People's Committee of Xuan Lam Commune (Nghe An Province) - confirmed that the local police force in coordination with Hanoi City Police had found two missing girls after many days in the capital to find jobs.
According to the report, on the evening of July 3, the two sisters Nguyen Thi H. (15 years old) and Nguyen Thi Ng. (13 years old), residing in Xuan Lam commune, took a bus to Hanoi to work overtime in the summer. Before arriving, the students contacted their cousin Nguyen Thi Ha. However, after the car arrived in Hanoi, the two suddenly lost contact. The phone was unconnected, and social networks were not working. The family reported to the police, afraid that the students would be lured or in danger.
As soon as the information was received, the Hanoi People's Committee and the police force promptly took action to verify, review security cameras and connections. Through verification, this morning, the authorities discovered that the two students were in Thai Binh province (old).
Mr. Nguyen Cao Thanh added: Today, the authorities will take the two children to the house of an acquaintance in Hanoi to stabilize their spirit. If the children still want to work part-time, the family plans to bring them back to Vinh to work near their home.
Local authorities also call on people to promptly notify the police if they discover signs of danger or unusual contact loss for support and intervention.
