On August 8, the Party Committee of Dai Hai Commune, Can Tho City held the 1st Congress of Delegates for the 2025 - 2030 term.
At the Congress, the Decisions were approved to appoint the Executive Committee of the Dai Hai Commune Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term, consisting of 27 comrades and the Standing Committee of 9 comrades. Appointed Ms. Trinh Thi Bao Khuyen to hold the position of Party Committee Secretary, 2 Deputy Secretaries, Mr. Doan Chi Cong and Duong Chi Nguyen.
Dai Hai commune was formed on the basis of merging Dai Hai commune and Ba Trinh commune (Ke Sach district, old Soc Trang province). The locality has strategic traffic routes such as National Highway 1A, Provincial Roads 932B, 932C and an expanded bridge and road system.
In the 2020 - 2025 term, the Party Committee of Dai Hai commune focused on propagating and mobilizing people to restructure the crop, arrange crops and livestock according to the plan; apply science - technology, mechanize production, increase agricultural value from 120 million VND/ha (20 2020) to 170 million VND/ha (2025).
Total capital for socio-economic infrastructure investment reached over 420 billion VND, socialization of rural bridge construction was 4.5 billion VND. The whole commune has 1,125 commercial and service establishments (reaching 102%); people's purchasing power has increased, estimated at 2,467 billion VND (reaching 123%). 100% of households have electricity and clean water.
Complete the digitization of household registration books, issue chip-embedded citizen identification cards and activate VNeID to reach 99% of the target. Building e-government is being accelerated, with 100% of electronic documents exchanged and processed on the system. E-government operates effectively, 100% of documents are exchanged electronically; the digital economy is developed, cashless payments are widely deployed.
