3 villages in Lim town (Tien Du district) were transformed into the neighborhood: Lung Giang, Lung Son and Due Dong.
5 villages in Gia Binh town (Gia Binh district) were transformed into the neighborhood: Dong Binh, Huong Vinh, Song Quynh, Noi Phu, Phu Ninh.
7 villages in Nhan Thang town (Gia Binh district) are transformed into the neighborhood: Nhan Huu, Cau Dao, Huong Troi, Khoai Khe, Le Loi, Cam Xa and Ngo Cuong.
8 villages in Thua town (Luong Tai district) were transformed into the neighborhood: Tan Dan, History, Kim Dao, Dong Huong, Bui, Hoang, Phuong Tri and Phuong Giao.
Currently, Bac Ninh province has 8 district administrative units, including 4 districts, 2 towns and 2 cities; 121 communal administrative units, including 66 communes, 50 wards and 5 towns.
