Attending and directing the conference was Politburo member and Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh.
The conference was also attended by leaders of Bac Ninh province, leaders of a number of ministries and branches.
At the Conference, Bac Ninh province awarded newly issued investment registration certificates to 9 FDI enterprises and 7 domestic enterprises; granted investment registration certificates to adjust capital increase to 9 FDI enterprises in industrial parks; awarded 7 Decisions approving investment policies and 12 Decisions selecting investors for investment projects outside industrial parks.
There are 2 enterprises that have agreed and committed to increasing capital with a total increase of 300 million USD.

Speaking at the conference, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh assessed that Bac Ninh is a wise choice for investors thanks to many outstanding advantages such as: being in the Northern key economic region, near Hai Phong, on the trans-Asia belt, with a synchronous transportation system, with more than 50 industrial parks, of which more than 20 industrial parks have come into operation. Currently, the province has 2,800 FDI projects, with a total registered capital of about 45 billion USD, becoming a "bright spot" with open development space.
The Permanent Deputy Prime Minister expressed his hope that the projects will be implemented soon, and the commitments will be quickly implemented so that in the shortest time, attracting investment will become a reality.
The Permanent Deputy Prime Minister acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of the Bac Ninh provincial government in accompanying businesses, building a friendly and open investment environment, always listening and promptly removing difficulties for investors.
Therefore, the Permanent Deputy Prime Minister suggested that the province should continue to maintain that spirit to create momentum for sustainable growth in the coming time.
The Permanent Deputy Prime Minister noted that in parallel with the development of high-tech industry and semiconductor industry, Bac Ninh also needs to simultaneously invest appropriately in agriculture, a field that is a "bright spot" of the province with many products reaching the international market.
He also suggested that immediately after Gia Binh airport and key industrial projects come into operation, Bac Ninh province should play a pioneering role, starting the process of registering Bac Ninh to become a centrally-governed city by 2030, along with Ninh Binh and Khanh Hoa.
