That event is one of the golden milestones in the history of the Vietnamese people. The Declaration of Independence of President Ho Chi Minh marked the glorious victory of the Vietnamese revolution after nearly a century of being supported by colonialism and feudal fealty, clearly demonstrating the indomitable and indomitable fighting will, the strength of the entire nation and the aspiration to regain sovereignty and freedom of the entire nation. Not only that, the Declaration of Independence is also the birth of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, opening a new era - the era of independence and freedom. This is a document of great historical, political and ideological value.
The historical truth is very clear, so in cyberspace, some individuals and organizations that are hostile and unwilling to do good things towards Vietnam still deliberately issue incorrect, distorted views, distorting the truth, in order to deny the value and great meaning of the Declaration of Independence. One of the lines they repeated on the occasion of the Party, State and People of Vietnam celebrating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025) was to say: The Declaration of Independence was read by President Ho Chi Minh personally, but "does not represent the entire people"...
That metaphor is completely wrong. Because history has proven that President Ho Chi Minh was chosen by the entire people, representing the Viet Minh Front and revolutionary forces leading the August Uprising in 1945.
In fact, during the past 15 years (1930 - 1945), under the leadership of the Communist Party, headed by leader Nguyen Ai Quoc, the revolutionaryocrates attracted and mobilized the support of the masses. The entire people supported the revolution because this was a just revolution, with a clear and unified goal, which was to regain independence for the nation, overthrow the domination of the French colonialists and Japanese impressionists, and build a new government - the government of the people, by the people and for the people. This is the common wish of the entire Vietnamese nation after decades of oppression and domination, not of any individual.
On the other hand, the Indochinese Communist Party and President Ho Chi Minh had the right leadership, closely combining the blocking, at the right time between the revolutionary opportunity and the revolutionary forces, launching the General Uprising at the right time. The policy of the Party and leader Nguyen Ai Quoc is in line with the people's hearts, enthusiastically responded to by all classes in society. During the revolutionary peaks, especially after the founding of the Viet Minh Front, many classes of people, all classes in society, regardless of richness or poverty, religion, ethnicity, age... united and spread the national rescue movement across the country, creating a combined strength. After Japan surrendered to the Allies, the dominating apparatus in Vietnam was paralyzed. People across the country from urban to rural areas are full of fighting spirit. When the "golden opportunity" appeared, the Indochinese Communist Party and its leader Nguyen Ai Quoc, through the Viet Minh Front, launched a General Uprising and the entire people quickly rose up to take power without much blood. The rise of the people has clearly demonstrated the high patriotism and deep sense of citizen responsibility.
The Declaration was read in front of tens of thousands of people at Ba Dinh Square and received widespread support from the entire people, clearly demonstrating the solidarity and unity of the entire nation. The provisional government was established immediately afterwards and, in order to carry out the duties of an independent nation, it could be according to the will and aspirations of the entire people.
The loan-off is that the Declaration of Independence declared by President Ho Chi Minh "does not represent the entire people"... is actually ignoring the widespread support of the masses for the revolutionary government, thereby spreading skeptical ideology that the Declaration of Independence only reflects the will of one person or a group of people, not the will and aspirations of the entire people. Further, it is to weaken the national spirit, denying the sacred historical value of the Declaration of Independence that President Ho Chi Minh solemnly issued to the nation and the world. But those people with bad plans cannot deceive the public.
