On the afternoon of November 18, the Border Guard Command of Hai Phong City held a Conference to summarize 5 years of implementing the Project "Organizing in-depth training; propagating and disseminating Vietnam Border Law and detailed regulations for the period 2021-2025" in the Hai Phong City Border Guard.
Colonel Pham Hong Phong, Secretary of the Party Committee and Political Commissar of the City Border Guard chaired the Conference.
Implementing the Plans of the Ministry of National Defense and the Border Guard Command on the implementation of the Project, over the past 5 years, the City Border Guard has advised the City People's Committee to organize and attend in-depth training conferences for the team of reporters and legal propagandists from departments, branches, and armed forces units in the city. Agencies and units in the City Border Guard have proactively coordinated with the government's Party Committee, organized 701 propaganda sessions,/74,361 sessions for people in the city's coastal border area and border gates; distributed 246,638 leaflets of all kinds; 492 books on border laws, 658 discs of DVD, 5,441 national flags and 1,321 life jackets and life jackets of all kinds; propagated on the local media system 1,297 sessions; directly propagated through the daily work of the teams and border work stations 9,035 sessions; propagated through the implementation of the "Brandaling message" system to 1,400 subscribers in the city; propagated the law on border and propagated the sea and islands to local officers and people.
In addition, Hai Phong Border Guard has coordinated with the City Department of Justice to launch and respond to the online contest "Learning about the Law on Border Guard of Vietnam" with 25,947 registered accounts, including many individuals who won the consolation prize in the weekly rounds; coordinated with the City Department of Education and Training to include the content of legal propaganda on the border in the national defense education program and citizen education suitable for each level of education, contributing to raising awareness of the Law on Border Guard, awareness and responsibility of citizens in the work of managing and protecting territorial sovereignty and national border security for the younger generation.
In the coming time, Hai Phong Border Guard has determined to continue implementing the Project with the motto "Proactive, sharp, in-depth, substantial, and effective". In particular, focusing on in-depth propaganda, innovating content and forms, focusing on common violations of the law at sea: such as illegal fishing, violating regulations on entry/exit, providing information, documents and typical cases to serve propaganda and warning work, contributing to firmly protecting the sovereignty of the Fatherland's sea and islands.
On this occasion, the Hai Phong City Border Guard Command presented certificates of merit to 8 collectives and 20 individuals with outstanding achievements in implementing the Project "Organizing in-depth training; propagating and disseminating Vietnam Border Guard laws and detailed regulations for the period 2021-2025".
