On July 22, the working delegation of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, led by Mr. Nguyen Van Nen - Politburo member, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee - visited and presented gifts to war invalids and meritorious people at the Long Dat Nursing Center for War Invalids and Meritorious People (Long Hai commune), on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of the War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1945 - July 27, 2025).
Reporting to the working group, the Long Dat War Invalids and Meritorious People's Nursing Center informed that on average, each year, the unit treats and restores the function of about 2,000-3,000 war invalids and meritorious people in the Southern region.
At the same time, resolve well the regimes and policies according to regulations for war invalids and meritorious people to soon stabilize their health and spirit. Currently, the center is treating and restoring regular function for 31 war invalids and meritorious people.

On behalf of the working group, Mr. Nguyen Van Nen kindly visited their health, material and spiritual life, expressing his deep gratitude to the war invalids and meritorious people who sacrificed part of their blood and bones for the Fatherland.
At the same time, I am grateful to the officers and employees at the Center who have always wholeheartedly cared for war invalids and meritorious people in the past time, so that they can continue to promote their will to be self-reliant, self-reliant, and rise up in life, becoming a shining example of the quality of "Uncle Ho's soldiers" for the younger generation to follow.
On this occasion, the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee delegation presented 31 gifts, each gift including cash and necessities to war invalids and meritorious people at the Center; presented 1 gift and cash to the Long Dat Nursing Center for War Invalids and Meritorious People.
