On the occasion of the New Year 2025 and before the Lunar New Year of At Ty, on the afternoon of January 20, President Luong Cuong and the Central working delegation visited, encouraged and wished the Special Forces a Happy New Year at the Special Forces Command Headquarters.
At the meeting, Major General Hoang Minh Son - Commander of the Special Forces - briefly reported on the history and traditions and some outstanding results in performing the military and defense tasks of the Corps last year.
The entire Army Corps seriously and closely implemented adjustments to organization and staffing, and developed forces; the quality of training, education and training, and the building of a comprehensively strong "Exemplary Model" unit have made progressive changes.
Expressing his joy at visiting and working with the unit in the first days of the new year 2025, on behalf of the Party and State leaders, President Luong Cuong sent his warm regards and best wishes for the new year to all officers and soldiers of the heroic Special Forces.
Pointing out that 2025 is a year of special importance with many major political events of the Party and the country, President Luong Cuong requested the Party Committee - Command and officers and soldiers of the Special Forces to continue to thoroughly grasp and seriously and effectively implement the resolutions and directives of the Party, the State, the Central Military Commission, and the Ministry of National Defense on military and national defense, focusing on Resolution No. 44-NQ/TW of the Party Central Committee (13th Tenure) on the Strategy for protecting the Fatherland in the new situation.
The President noted that the Corps needs to pay attention to building a clean and strong Party organization, associated with a comprehensively strong unit; and building a Vietnamese Special Forces force that is especially politically elite.
At the same time, we must carry out Uncle Ho's instructions to the Special Forces: "Special Forces means special work, special honor, special efforts are required, special forces soldiers are given special trust, any task, any special task must be completed and completed well. Any special difficulty must be overcome, must be overcome...".

The President also requested the unit to continue to closely coordinate with the Border Guard, Coast Guard, Police and relevant agencies and units to effectively carry out the task of combat readiness to prevent and combat "peaceful evolution", terrorism, riots and overthrow; promptly and effectively handle complicated situations that arise, contributing to maintaining political security, social order and safety; firmly protecting the independence, sovereignty, unity and sacred territorial integrity of the Fatherland.
On the other hand, the President requested to focus on directing the preparation and successful organization of Party Congresses at all levels in the Army Corps, the Army Corps Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term, towards the 12th Army Party Congress and the 14th National Party Congress.
Along with that, we must regularly care for the material and spiritual life and progress of officers and soldiers; in the immediate future, we must organize a spring festival for officers and soldiers that is thoughtful, safe, economical, and highly combat-ready.
Honored and proud of the glorious tradition of 58 years of building, fighting and growing, the President believes and hopes that in the new revolutionary period, the Special Forces will continue to promote the tradition of "Especially elite; Greatly heroic; Bold and resourceful; Dangerous fighting, great victories", constantly striving to rise up, achieving even greater feats and achievements, to forever be worthy of being the elite special force, fighting loyally of our Party, State, Army and people.
On the occasion of the coming of Tet and Spring, on behalf of the Party and State leaders, the President wishes the Party Committee - Command and all officers and soldiers of the Special Forces always good health, happiness, peace, prosperity, and a new year of new victories.
