On June 29, the leader of the Department of Home Affairs of Binh Dinh province said that up to now, agencies, units, localities and mass organizations at the provincial and commune levels in the area have completed the installation of new name plates, serving the operations of the new local government apparatus from July 1.

According to the reporter's records on the same day, the headquarters of the People's Committee of Binh Dinh province at 01 Tran Phu (Quy Nhon city) has completed the change of the nameplate to the headquarters of the People's Committee of Gia Lai province (in Quy Nhon ward).

At 127 Hai Ba Trung (Quy Nhon City) - headquarters of the Binh Dinh Provincial Public Administration Service Center, the sign has been renamed the Gia Lai Provincial Public Administration Service Center (in Quy Nhon Ward).
According to the plan, at 8:00 a.m. on June 30, at the Great Hall of Binh Dinh Provincial Convention Center (No. 1 Nguyen Tat Thanh, Quy Nhon City) - a provincial-level bridge point - a ceremony will be held to announce resolutions and decisions of the Central and local governments on merging administrative units, establishing party organizations, appointing Party committees, People's Councils, People's Committees, and the Fatherland Front of provinces, communes and wards.

The ceremony was also held online connecting with 135 communes and wards of the new Gia Lai province. Of which, 77 communes and wards are currently in Gia Lai province, directed by the Standing Committee of the Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee (old) and 58 communes and wards are currently in Binh Dinh province.
To ensure the information system serves the direction, operation and handling of procedures for people and businesses in the new administrative model, on the same day, Chairman of Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan inspected the operation of information systems at the Department of Science and Technology (KHCN) and VNPT Binh Dinh.

According to the Department of Science and Technology, VNPT Binh Dinh, the online public service system and an electronic gate have been completed, providing 2,149 services to serve people and businesses. The conversion of the form of submitting documents through the National Public Service Portal has also been carried out, ensuring progress.
In addition, VNPT Binh Dinh has completed the relocation and configuring of the online television bridge system, ready to serve the meetings connecting the province with 135 communes, wards as well as the Central Government from June 27.
Through the inspection, Mr. Pham Anh Tuan suggested that VNPT Gia Lai and VNPT Binh Dinh closely coordinate to open a transmission line with the most optimal capacity, avoiding congestion, especially in the early stages of operation.
He also noted the need to support communes in mountainous areas and ethnic minority areas, requiring "handsharing" so that local officials can proficiently use the system. VNPT Gia Lai and VNPT Binh Dinh coordinated synchronously, urgently completing the installation, ensuring that by the announcement date, 100% of communes and wards are connected smoothly.
"July 1 will be a historic moment. Technology staff will work very hard, so each person needs to try and make more efforts, not to allow interruptions, always having to prepare a backup transmission system", Mr. Pham Anh Tuan emphasized.
