On the afternoon of February 24, the Party Committee and the Military Command of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province held a conference to hand over the position of Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Military Party Committee, Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command.
Mr. Pham Viet Thanh - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Military Party Committee of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province; Lieutenant General Tran Hoai Trung - Secretary of the Party Committee, Political Commissar of Military Region 7 co-chaired the conference.
According to the decision of the Ministry of National Defense, Lieutenant Colonel Ngo Khanh - Deputy Head of the Personnel Department, Political Department of Military Region 7 - was appointed to hold the position of Political Commissar of the Military Command of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province; replace Colonel Nguyen Thanh Trung - Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command - who was previously transferred and appointed to hold the position of Political Commissar of the Ho Chi Minh City Command.
At the conference, Colonel Nguyen Thanh Trung handed over the position of Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Military Party Committee to Colonel Tran Van Cu - Commander of the Provincial Military Command; handed over the position of Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command to Lieutenant Colonel Ngo Khanh.
At the conference, Mr. Pham Viet Thanh congratulated the two appointed comrades; highly appreciated the results achieved during Colonel Nguyen Thanh Trung's working period, contributing to the strong construction and enhancement of the role and image of the provincial armed forces.
