On August 19, in Hanoi, the Politburo worked with the Standing Committee of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee to give opinions on the draft documents and personnel plan for the Provincial Party Committee Congress for the 2025 - 2030 term. Politburo member and National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man chaired the meeting.
Also attending the meeting were Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Organization Committee Le Minh Hung; General Trinh Van Quyet - Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Standing Member of the Central Military Commission, Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army.
At the meeting, Nghe An Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Duc Trung reported a summary of the preparation of documents and personnel plans for the 20th Provincial Party Congress.
Based on the direction and guidance of the Central Government, the Politburo, the Secretariat, and the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee, it has led, directed, and guided the lower-level Party Committees to quickly stabilize after the restructuring of the apparatus, overcome difficulties, and successfully organize grassroots and superior-level Party Congresses on schedule; create a basis for preparing and organizing the 20th Nghe An Provincial Party Congress.
The document preparation process has updated and concretized the new viewpoints and policies of the Central Government and the Politburo; at the same time, organized discussions and collected comments from departments, ministries, branches, central agencies, experts, scientists, intellectuals, artists, leaders, former leaders of central and local agencies and cadres, party members, and people.
Concluding the working session, Politburo member and National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man assessed that the preparation of draft documents and personnel plans for the Party Committee to submit to the 20th Provincial Party Congress was carried out meticulously, seriously and methodically.
At the same time, closely following the Central's ideological viewpoints and local realities, qualified to organize the 20th Provincial Party Congress.
Agreeing with the Congress motto, the National Assembly Chairman suggested that Nghe An province edit the draft Political Report more freely in the spirit of being concise, easy to understand, easy to remember, easy to implement, easy to do.
In particular, it is necessary to emphasize Party building work, general feasible actions, and have a specific implementation roadmap like the Central Government.
Paying special attention to Nghe An province's average GRDP per capita target of about 7,500 - 8,000 USD by 2030, the National Assembly Chairman said that Nghe An must be discussed carefully in the Party Committee, clearly identify the drivers of growth rate, budget collection, import and export, and propose effective solutions to achieve this target.
According to the National Assembly Chairman, building a provincial digital transformation data center to the commune level, digitizing, and using artificial intelligence (AI), each person and business needs 1-2 virtual assistants for the digital transformation revolution to be successful.
Regarding the personnel plan for the 2025-2030 term, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man assessed Nghe An Provincial Party Committee for leading and directing seriously and in accordance with the process, ensuring objectivity, democracy, publicity and transparency in accordance with the spirit of Directive 45 of the Politburo; at the same time, he proposed that the province select a source of ethnic minority cadres and young cadres to join the Party Committee to ensure the restructuring requirements.
