On September 9, at the Party Central Committee Headquarters, Working Group No. 2 of the Politburo worked with representatives of the Standing Committees of the Tay Ninh and Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committees to give opinions on draft documents and personnel plans at the Party Committee level to submit to the Provincial Party Congress for the 2025 - 2030 term.
Working Group No. 2 is chaired by Politburo member and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh. Also attending the meeting were Politburo members: Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Nguyen Trong Nghia; General Phan Van Giang - Deputy Secretary of the Central Military Commission, Minister of National Defense.
At the working session, the Working Group listened to and gave opinions on the draft main documents submitted to the provincial and municipal Party Congresses for the 2025-2030 term, including the Political Report, the Report on reviewing the leadership and direction of the Provincial Party Executive Committee for the 2020-2025 term, the Personnel Project for the Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term and the draft Resolution of the Congress.
In general, the draft documents have been comprehensively evaluated by the Provincial Party Committees for the results achieved in the past 5 years, frankly pointing out limitations, causes and lessons learned. The orientation, goals, tasks and solutions for the 2025 - 2030 period demonstrate the spirit of political determination, development vision, identification of key tasks and development breakthroughs, basically grasping and concretizing the major policies and orientations in the draft documents of the 14th National Party Congress and the Resolutions of the Central Committee and the Politburo recently issued.
Speeches by Politburo members and the Secretariat basically agreed with the draft documents of the Tay Ninh and Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committees and at the same time proposed to clarify the outstanding results, limitations, and additions to clarify the potential and strengths of each locality, supplement strategic vision orientation in the new period and set requirements for each locality.
In particular, for Tay Ninh province, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh suggested that the Provincial Party Committee promote the building of a clean and strong Party and political system, promoting the tradition of bravery and resilience; making breakthroughs in socio-economic development; ensuring national defense and security; and entering a new era with the whole country - the era of national growth.
For Tuyen Quang province, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh suggested that the Party Committee, government, and people of all ethnic groups in the province continue to promote the revolutionary homeland tradition, firmly protect national border sovereignty, continue to improve the leadership capacity of the Party; join hands and unanimously successfully implement the goals until 2030, together with the whole country in the era of national growth.
The Working Group requested the Tay Ninh and Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committees to study and absorb the opinions of Politburo members and the Secretariat and absorb the maximum comments from central departments and ministries to complete the documents submitted to the Congress.
