On March 16, according to the Ministry of Public Security's Electronic Information Portal, the Ministry of Public Security and the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union jointly organized a Ceremony to honor outstanding young people of the Police of communes, wards and towns in 2025 and summarized the "Youth for National Security" Camp in the Northern region on the evening of March 15.
The "Youth for National Security" Camp is a meaningful activity, helping Vietnamese youth and the youth of the People's Public Security (CAND) better understand the 50-year historical journey of building, fighting and maturing of the CAND force;
Thereby, arousing pride, encouraging and motivating the young generation of the People's Public Security to make more efforts in the cause of protecting national security, ensuring social order and safety and building a truly clean, disciplined, elite and modern People's Public Security force, meeting the requirements in the new situation.
In addition, the Youth Union has organized many meaningful activities such as: Visiting and giving gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers; organizing the "Youth Acting for National Security" Festival; examining and giving free medicine, giving gifts to people in Son Duong district; inaugurating the "PC room for children" project, book library and giving scholarships to students; starting the construction of gratitude houses for disadvantaged households; awarding sports prizes and prizes for the "Youth moments" Photo Contest...
Lieutenant General Nguyen Ngoc Toan - Director of the Department of Political Affairs, Ministry of Public Security - has requested the Central Secretariat of the Youth Union, provinces and cities to continue to coordinate and support the People's Public Security force; promote their role and responsibility in participating in ensuring security, order and building the movement "All people protect national security"; create a favorable mechanism for the youth of the Public Security to continue to promote their core role in building the local political system.
At the same time, it is required that the Youth Union and Youth Union members of the Public Security continue to deeply grasp and spread the great values of the traditional history of the 80th anniversary of the Vietnam People's Public Security and the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection.
At the ceremony, 80 outstanding young police officers of communes, wards and towns, representing 34,000 young police officers working and fighting at the grassroots level were honored.
After 2 days of organizing the Fair, the Organizing Committee awarded 8 A prizes, 14 B prizes, and 20 C prizes to units participating in the Fair.
