On March 1, Dak Lak Provincial Police held a ceremony to deploy functions and tasks according to the new organizational structure of the Provincial Police.
In this arrangement and streamlining, the Provincial Police have reduced 15 district-level police units and 138 team-level units. There are 152 department-level leaders, district police leaders, and team commanders who have applied for early retirement, early retirement benefits; applied to hold a lower position or ceased to hold a position.

Dak Lak province currently has 180 commune-level administrative units (including 18 wards, 13 towns and 149 communes). At the ceremony, Dak Lak Provincial Police announced 27 heads of units under the Provincial Police and 180 Chiefs of Commune Police.
