On July 13, in Hanoi, the Party Committee and the Border Guard Command (BGB) organized a conference to announce the decision on personnel work. Lieutenant General Nguyen Anh Tuan - Secretary of the Party Committee, Political Commissar of the BGB - chaired the conference.
Also attending the conference were Heads of the General Staff, Political Department, Departments and Offices of the Border Guard Command.
At the conference, Major General Nguyen Xuan Toan - Member of the Standing Committee of the Border Guard Party Committee, Head of the Political Department of the Border Guard - announced the decisions of the Ministry of National Defense on appointing cadres for 7 comrades, promoting military ranks from Senior Colonel to Colonel for 23 comrades, and promoting military ranks ahead of schedule for 20 comrades.

Speaking at the conference, on behalf of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Head of the Border Guard Command, Lieutenant General Nguyen Anh Tuan affirmed: The fact that comrades were awarded decisions today is the result of a process of training, persistent striving, responsibility and enthusiasm in performing tasks; and at the same time shows the recognition and high appreciation of the organization for the contributions of each personnel.
That achievement is not only nurtured from the will and efforts of each individual, but also from the attention, leadership, direction, and creation of conditions of Party committees and commanders at all levels; the sharing, encouragement, and help of comrades and teammates throughout the working process.
Therefore, each individual needs to cherish that recognition, considering it as motivation to continue to promote qualities and abilities, quickly integrate into the new working environment, maintain internal solidarity within agencies and units, solidarity within Party committees and commands, and close ties with Party committees and local authorities. This is both a worthy recognition and a memorable milestone, adding motivation for each individual to continue to train, contribute and grow on the path of military career.
Lieutenant General Nguyen Anh Tuan emphasized that along with honor and pride is a sense of responsibility. Individuals who are promoted to military ranks need to continue to promote their political bravery, moral qualities, capacity, methods and working style to successfully complete their assigned responsibilities and tasks; at the same time, they must be exemplary role models, setting an example in building the spirit of solidarity and unity among Party committees and commanders, contributing to the collective leadership of agencies and units to excellently complete all assigned tasks.
