Awarding the 40-year Party membership badge and congratulating Mr. Dao Ngoc Dung, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh stated that this is a noble award, demonstrating the Party's recognition of his efforts and contributions over the past time.
Minister Dao Ngoc Dung was admitted to the Party on December 31, 1984, striving, training, and growing up from the grassroots, participating in 4 Central Executive Committee sessions (from term X to term XIII), assigned by the Party and State to take on many important positions and always trying and making efforts to successfully complete assigned tasks.
During nearly 10 years of his tenure as Minister of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, he has led, directed, advised on the promulgation and implementation of many major policies and guidelines in social security work, sustainable poverty reduction, policies for people with revolutionary contributions, etc.
From March 2025 to present, in his position as Minister of Ethnic Minorities and Religions, he has continued to promote his capacity and experience, together with the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and leaders of the Ministry, to focus on directing and effectively implementing the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws on ethnic and religious work.

The Prime Minister stated that our Party and State always pay attention to ethnic and religious work. The Ministry of Ethnic Minorities and Religions has a heavy and very important task in promoting the spirit of great national unity, national affection, and compatriotism - one of the pillars for rapid and sustainable national development.
At the same time, ensure equal access for ethnic groups; ensure freedom of belief and religion; promote the cultural identity of ethnic groups, make ethnic culture a resource for development and service to the country.
Ensuring basic conditions and focusing on implementing social security policies for people in remote areas, border areas, islands, ethnic minorities, especially in health and education, in the immediate future, coordinate the implementation of starting construction of 100 boarding and semi-boarding schools in border communes in 2025 and completing them no later than August 2026.
